What it does

The extension adds a line above an open email naming the service that tracks the open. It works in Yandex Mail, Gmail and Mail.ru and recognises pixels from more than 50 mailing services.

What happens to an email

In Yandex Mail the extension replaces a known pixel before it is requested. In Gmail and Mail.ru the image may load before the extension sees it. Unknown trackers are not recognised, and the mail service itself still knows that the email was opened.

The extension does not read subjects, senders, recipients or message text. It makes no network requests. Only the switch position is stored on the device. The interface is in English and Russian; desktop and Android Firefox were tested.
